The Fattoria di Caiano is situated in the centre of Tuscany between Mugello and Casentino areas, therefore it is in a strategic position in regard to places of great importance, both artistic and historic: Firenze, Arezzo, Pisa , Lucca, Poppi Eremo di Camaldoli, La Verna, just to mention a few.
The Etruscan nation dwelled here and you can visit various archeological sites or walk the Etruscan paths (see “I Sentieri degli Etruschi” published by the Londa Municipality). It is close to the Foreste Casentinesi National Park which you can visit trekking, on mountain bike or on horseback. Its dominant position on the valley makes it possible to enjoy fabulous sunsets.
The village of Londa is 3 kms away and there you can find the main services : supermarket, bank, medical doctor, pharmacy, post office, public library, internet point, horse riding , fishing , roller skating and various restaurants where you can taste genuine Tuscan food. Last but not least good wine: we are in the Chianti Putto area.
